Who is Laura Kedzlie?
I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Buckinghamshire, offering quality artwork for your walls.
At the beginning of 2024 I decided to embrace my creative nature, develop my passion for contemporary art and focus full time on painting.
After twenty years, I left the corporate world behind and 'Laura Kedzlie Art' was launched.
My paintings
My style of contemporary abstract art is heavily inspired by nature and the beautiful local countryside. Generally working on canvas, I primarily use oils and acrylic paints to build layers, depth and texture to each piece.
My influences
I also have strong ties to Bridport in Dorset, where I have spent much time over the last twenty five years. The landscape there has provided a strong influence on some of my more contemporary paintings such as "Colmers Hill" and "Deep Blue".
My style
The style of most of my paintings is characterized by bold, vibrant brushstrokes, giving the paintings a sense of movement. This is further excentuated by layers of colour and texture.

Art themes
I tend to develop a series of work (anywhere up to 20 paintings) and then take a break from that theme for a short while, to ensure that my work doesn't get too stagnated or forced.

All my paintings are original pieces and are hand signed by myself and include a stamped certificate of authenticity.
